Cooperation Civics
Cooperation Civics is an outgrowth of exciting new work on the cultural foundations of free-market democracies and the evolution of firms and entrepreneurship. Using a Big Civics approach guided by the cooperation thesis, we make a moral case for our way of life by explaining why our free-market democracy is a highly evolved system of cooperation made robust by our constitutional republic. We recognize that educators in America’s homes and K-12 schools struggle to find high quality resources to supplement mandated civics curriculum where it falls short. We support America’s educators by creating engaging, factual, free curricular supplements. Each digital, stand-alone teacher toolbox includes original primary resources, turnkey student assignments, and engaging classroom activities designed to enable students to understand the central place of cooperation in our system of liberty. Less time identifying pertinent primary resources and crafting engaging assignments and activities, means more time for teachers to do their most important work—educating America’s youth.
